It's that time of year again. This Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year. If you're planning on going out this Friday it is important to have a strategy.
First off, you must compile a list of what you plan on buying. While doing this you need to realize that big ticket items will not be around long after the store opens. Many stores will have lines for these items that may start up to 24 hours in advance. Weigh your options and pick and choose your target items.
Shop quickly. This is not the day to go browse the store. Get the items on your list and check out so that you can get to your next destination. Be prepared for long checkout lines at some stores. Planning ahead can also help you decide what order to visit stores in. Opening times, item priority, & location should all be variables in your planning process.
The most important thing to remember is to be safe while having fun. Remember that it's just Christmas shopping and if you don't get the items you want there will be online deals starting Cyber-Monday through the new year.
