Simplify your social web

I've posted recently here about using a program called Digsby. In addition to this program here are some tips to help you get more out of your social websites, chat, & e-mail.
1. Get a Twitter account. I know you're thinking you don't want some pointless site that tells you what your friends are doing all the time, but trust me, it's quite fun and addictive. Using applications built into Facebook you can have Twitter update your Facebook status instantly (also works with myspace via twittersync). Twitter can be updated from the twitter website, the facebook application, Digsby, and even your cell phone. That means if you're out parting you can update your facebook status from your cell phone! Think about the possible uses with that.
2. Get Digsby. If you're using AIM there is no reason you should be. Digsby is free and has NO ADS! Digsby also instantly checks your e-mail, Facebook account, Myspace account, and Twitter right from your desktop! See the green image I posted above for an example.
3. Subscribe to friends on Twitter. This is just fun and will keep you up to date of what's going on in your friends' worlds.
Stop thinking about it and just do it. You can thank me later. You'll save time as well as be more in touch with your online buddies.
