I was browsing the internet yesterday looking up some music and playing around with my last.fm account. (By the way, if you don't have your own you need one.) Through the musical tastes of my only current last.fm friend, who we'll call "Lesley", I was reminded of Rosemary Clooney. I knew that I had previously purchased a southern music sampler cd by the Oxford American that had featured a Clooney track. I still have the cd somewhere here in the house but the magazine is long gone. I went to the Oxford American site to find out some information on this issue as well as the track list for the cd. Although the information was slim, I did find that this magazine now goes for $125. I paid $7.50. I'm sure there are more things like this that we all see every day but don't even realize it. Oh well.
